Elie Saab

Elie Saab is one of my favorite Haute Couture designers. He doesn't only make Haute Couture collections but also Ready-to-wear collections along with dressing many of Hollywood's celebs. 

He was born July 4, 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon. He was self trained in sewing and in 1981 he moved to Paris to study fashion. He returned home one year later and opened his workshop. In 1997 he was the first designer that was not Italian to become a member of Camera Nazionale della Moda. 

Elie became an overnight success when Halle Berry received the Oscars in 2002 wearing a dress he made. He has dressed many celebs and among his clients are: The Swedish crown princess, Victoria,  Queen Rania of Jordan, Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé and Rihanna.
