Trends of 2012 part 2.

The Streetstyle Trends
The trends didn't only come from the runways at first. We have many other 2012 trends that started on the streets and became international trends. Some of those trends are:

Jeffrey Campbell Shoes
The Jeffrey Campbell shoes were a big trend this year. Especially the Lita ones. It was worn by many fashionistas around the world in 2012 and will probably continue next year but not as proponent.
Spikes 'n' studs
Who doesn't love tight leather, spikes and studs? The biker-chick style was iiiiiin 2012! Leather is of course the ultimate tough-girl choice and matched with spikes/studs it's even tougher. Leather jackets were pimped with silver or gold studs, boots, bags and dresses as well. Have you noticed the leather dresses/tops that have the peplum? So have I!

Lovely in lace
Lace has been in and out the last years but 2012 it was totally in. Who did not own a pair of lace shorts this summer?! Also lace shirts, tops and dresses were a big thing and even bags with lace details. It was mostly black, or light colored.

High Low skirts
The semi sheer high-low skirts were BIG this year. It doesn't matter in what color it's always amazing! There were few in patterns and that I understand, they are usually much better in only one color.

Non-square sunglasses
Instead of square sunglasses we wore either round or cat-eyed sunglasses. I really like that trend because it's fun, quirky and fashionable to wear them. They were often black or metallic but sometimes you saw some in bright colors and it's really cool too!

 Boho-style
The Maxi-skirts, loose blouses, prints/patterns, big colorful jewelry and the messy braids made the boho-style. If we look at the celebs you can see that Vanessa Hudgens and Nicole Richie were real trendsetters with that one.

Furrrrrr
Mmmm, who doesn't love the glamorous and elegant feeling of wearing a warm fur coat. I have a faux fur collar (I would NEVER wear real!) and I adore it, especially now when it's winter. The hats, the collars and the coats made of fur are a big winter trend and will probably still be here in winter 2013.
